Helicopters carry the news. Why good helicopter photography is scarce

Frames like this are already historical documents. The group closes with the Bell UH-1 Huey, perhaps the most culturally resonant helicopter ever built. Its silhouette and its sound belong to the shared memory of the twentieth century, and publishers reach for it whenever a story touches the Vietnam era, the birth of air mobility or the history of the helicopter itself.
